Venus/Taj Mahal is an elite quartzite primarily quarried in the Ceara region of Brazil. Distinguished by its soft, creamy ivory background and delicate wisps of gold and taupe veining, it offers the sophisticated aesthetic of high-end marble with the superior performance of granite. This metamorphic stone ranks approximately 7 on the Mohs scale, making it exceptionally resistant to scratches, heat, and acidic etching. Its neutral warmth and subtle translucency make it a designer favorite for waterfall islands and seamless backsplashes. Interestingly, while its name pays homage to the iconic white marble monument in India, this Brazilian powerhouse is geologically much denser and more durable than true marble.
