Calacatta Gold 3cm

Calacatta Gold is an Italian marble quarried in the Apuan Mountains, near Carrara. What sets it apart is a bright white-to-cream base crossed by thick veining in gold, honey, and soft grey tones. Compared to standard Carrara marble, which leans cooler, Calacatta Gold runs warmer and reads as more luxurious. That's why it shows up so often in high-end countertops, flooring, and book-matched feature walls. The geology behind the stone explains its look. Those rust and gold streaks come from natural mineral impurities — mainly iron oxides and tiny metal fragments trapped inside the rock over millions of years. Blocks with this specific coloring are scarce. Quarries pull them in limited quantities, which is exactly why Calacatta Gold commands some of the highest prices of any natural stone on the market.
